Women’s History Month Conversation Club
Mondays in March, 2:00 - 3:00pm
In this month’s Conversation club, we’ll talking about how Women have played in an important part in our history and continue to do so. You’ll be able to meet new friends and practise your English at this free and friendly conversation club. For speakers of other languages.

Did you know the first computer programmer was a woman? … And the athlete with the longest winning streak in the world…. And the world’s most successful pirate. Come and be inspired in this one off display in the childrens area and take out books about these and other women.

Art Club: Portraits of Women in the family [Ages 5+]

Come and join us celebrate Women’s History month in our Art Club. We will be drawing portraits of women in our family. It could be your Mother, Aunt, Sister or Grandmother.

The Universe Electric [Ages 16+]

Artist Paul Malone takes you on a tour of the universe with electric eyes! Using the latest images from space he explores how electro-dynamics forms the astronomical shapes we see A free event which does not require any specialist knowledge of the event
