Wellbeing Fun Day for Spine Festival

This fun day is a free opportunity to explore different activities which encourage health and wellbeing in a fun and interactive way. From learning techniques in our baby yoga taster to mindfulness activities for families, the fun day aims to show how little changes in our lifestyle can help children and grown-ups improve their wellbeing.

Turn Your Pain into Power

Part of Women's History Month.
“Every women has the capacity to move mountains if she finds the courage within herself to become a little resilient and turn her pain into power” 
Marzana Rahman will share her story about how her determination not to be defined by her abusive past led her on a journey of battling loneliness, learning about self-love, empowerment and advocacy which gave her the courage to challenge the stiff upper lip attitude on divorce and domestic violence within the South Asian community. This talk and workshop will teach you about how a positive mind -frame is the first step in achieving anything that you want in life.

Free Taster Session: Promote and Sell your Work Online (B4497)

Enrolment required. This free taster is designed for Artists and Makers to think how they go about promote and selling their work online. It is a friendly supportive course where ideas and experiences are shared.

The focus for the day taster course will be:

  • An introduction to Adobe Illustrator to create some digital logo ideas.
  • A general discussion sharing what is you are making,  identifying any unique selling points and who it is for. 
  • Exploring your unique identity.
