Job Support Sessions
Delivered in partnership with Krypton Training Ltd, a specialist Careers Advice and Employment Support service provider. Do you need help with legal matters? PopLaw is FREE legal advice clinic run by qualified solicitors who will offer initial legal advice on all areas of the law except family and immigration. This is a drop-in service, no appointments necessary.

Book Groups

Book Group
Making reading fun and rewarding! We aim to create an enjoyable shared experience in our new monthly book group. All titles can be borrowed from the Idea Store. Borrow the book and come along to the book group to discuss it. Free refreshments provided.
Second Monday of every month, 7 - 8.30pm

Book Break Group
Sit back and relax as we read stories and poems together and enjoy the shared reading experience. Talk about the issues and topics raised over a cup of tea and biscuits.

Rhymes, stories and fun for Under 5s, plus time to choose your favourite books!

Reading Aloud
Our shared reading sessions are a great opportunity to get into reading. Share an exciting story, meet new people and discover new authors, books and characters with a different story every day. If you like the story, you can borrow the book and finish reading it at home!
For children up to 11 years.

Boys' Book Club
Especially for boys to get together and share their reading experiences. Snacks and drinks provided.

Code Club
Would you like to learn to make your own computer games? At Code Club you can learn to make cool games, animations and websites too!

Teenage Book Club
Enjoy an exciting range of activities for teenagers, as we read stories together, explore a range of resources and take part in discussions. This month we shall be reading from a range of comic books, such as The Simpsons, Classic Comics and Marvel.

Freedom Pass Application Service 
Apply for your Older Persons Freedom Pass. This service was previously provided by the Post Office. 
Thursdays, 10am - 12noon


Pink Recycling Sacks Collection Point
Recycling bags and starch liners are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Residents can collect a roll of recycling bags by showing proof of their address such as a utility bill, council tax bill, bank statement or driving licence.
