BSL (British Sign Language) Initial Assessment Booking - Enquiry
Learn to communicate using British Sign Language (BSL) on a range of topics using simple everyday language.
The qualification is divided into three units, each of which can be achieved separately. To achieve the full Level 1 Award in British Sign Language, candidates must pass all units. The awarding body is Signature.
Unit 1
Greet people, understand basic conversation and numbers, give and follow simple directions and information.
Unit 2
Describe people, animals and objects, use numbers, interests and activities, and food and drink.
Unit 3
Getting around, sharing information, weather and using numbers.
