Course information and advice

Course outlines give more information about what will be covered during each course. You can find these on our course search page when you enrol.
If you want to join an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) English literacy or maths course, you will need have a one-to-one interview with a specialist teacher prior to enrolment.
They will assess your level and give you advice to help you to find the right course.

Support for learning
If you have declared a learning difficulty, disability or support need, there may be extra support available to help you get the most out of your course. Please discuss your individual needs with your course tutor.
WorkPath
WorkPath is a unique employment service for all Tower Hamlets residents, providing support for people at all levels of work, skill, or experience.
If you live in Tower Hamlets, WorkPath can provide employment support tailored to your needs. Whether you need

Tower Hamlets Connect
Tower Hamlets Connect brings a range of support services together in one place and the service can support adult residents with health, social care and social welfare information and advice. This includes housing, welfare and benefits, consumer issues and general advocacy.

Community navigators
Community Navigators give one to one support and can help with:
• advice on keeping safe and healthy
• information about how the council can help you
• information about other services and groups that can give support, including foodbanks, voluntary groups, financial advice services
They are also able to give extra support to vulnerable or isolated residents, for example making phone calls or emailing on their behalf.

Tower Hamlets Mental Health Crisis Line
The mental health crisis line is a free number which is available 24 hours a day for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis.
Callers are given support and advice from mental health professionals. Telephone 0800 073 0003.
